Major accomplishments include:

  • Developed and implemented an institution-wide course creation system that prioritizes adult learning principles; 

  • End-to-end course creation of over a dozen learner-centered courses on topics ranging from cultural humility to motivational interviewing to data visualization.   

  • Oversaw an LMS transition for over 10,000 learners to a more user-friendly LMS.  

  • Built and supervise a team of instructional designers, help desk experts and graphic design/video editing consultants.  

  • Led the strategic use of AI to speed production and cut costs while holding space for human-led design thinking, analysis, and writing.

​Developed e-learning, instructor-led curricula, and multi-media resources for a range of educational and nonprofit organizations.

Representative clients included organizations that:

  • taught pedagogy to college and university faculty;  

  • provided re-entry services and training to court-involved youth;

  • taught institutional kitchens how to source and use healthier, fresher food options 

  • fostered mentoring relationships to advance college persistence and success;

  • taught storytelling skills to job-seekers;

  • designed engaging compliance training; 

  • trained job coaches to support low-income job-seekers. 

Curriculum and Professional Developer. CUNY Start.

Trained, coached, and supervised CUNY Start faculty in research-based pedagogy. Wrote integrated-literacy curricula for high school and college students affiliated with CUNY. Collaborated with a ten-person team of professional developers and higher education administrators.  

Lead Instructor. CUNY Start at Laguardia Community College.

Taught, wrote curriculum, and trained CUNY faculty as a founding instructor in CUNY Start, a nationally recognized alternative to remediation at the City University of New York.
